Redpill Casualty, owned by local general practitioners, Dr Deen Pillay and Dr Jeevren Reddy, took over the emergency department at KwaDukuza Private Hospital from 1 March 2020. The team was visited by the acting Mayor of KwaDukuza, Her Worship, Dolly Govender, on 5 March 2020, where they celebrated by cutting a ribbon and cake with her to celebrate the takeover. “I have personally experienced the level of care offered by this hospital and these doctors so I can agree that the community will be getting the highest possible level of care available to them. It is so important to give back to the community that we are a part of and this is nothing short of that”, shared Govender. “The various doctors in this department are experienced, approachable and dedicated to serve the patients and community at large. The unit is ever willing to address queries, complaints and suggestion with an open-door policy. Our aim is to provide a better service to our community”, said Dr Reddy.
