KwaDukuza Private Hospital (KPH), joined hands with Whirlpool Isithebe, on Friday, 14 September, for the Whirlpool Employee Wellness Day, to provide their employees with a basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) demonstration, blood glucose, blood pressure testing & body mass index (BMI).
The programme, which was planned to facilitate the Durban University of Technology (DUT) Bachelor of Nursing – Occupational Health, second-year students, went on successfully and featured many service providers who were educating employees about their health, physical well-being and financial well-being.
Some highlights at the event was the interactive physiotherapy session held by KPH physiotherapist, Carly Benade, and the exciting occupational therapy session held by KPH occupational therapist, Sandhia Nair, which got employees off their chairs, stretching and dancing to the beat of the music.
