The South African national Blood Services (SANBS) hosted a blood drive at the hospital on Friday, 9 October, after 6 months, due to the restrictions imposed by Covid-19. This time, the blood drive was held at the outside entrance of the hospital, where the SANBS team were visible to the public and set-up their gazebos. They had a target of 15 donors and managed to obtain 12 donors. The SANBS send their heartfelt thanks to the donors for their generous contribution of blood which can save 3 lives. They hope to visit KPH soon and encourage more staff to participate in this initiative.
