KwaDukuza Private Hospital (KPH) celebrated the month of love by hosting a blood drive at the hospital on Friday, 15 February. KPH staff and members of the community were invited to participate in the blood drive and received a good response. “We would like to thank KPH for partnering with SANBS. We had a successful blood drive on Friday. The South African National Blood Services (SANBS) are always looking to partner with companies in order to collect enough blood and to give everyone an opportunity to take part in saving lives. We as SANBS KZN need to collect 500 units of blood per day and 3500 units nationally. The SANBS are currently on 5 days blood stocks countrywide”, said Anele Ngcobo of SANBS.
